Frozen Birthday Cake– We ordered this cake from a local friend that doesn’t actually have a cake business, she does this more of a hobby. So one it’s cheaper and two…I mean HOW CUTE!!
Snowflake Cake Pops– From the same person that made the cake, we also ordered cake pops to go with them. Cake Pops are easier & less messy for guests to enjoy.
Finish Each Other’s Sandwiches– The lyric of the popular Frozen Song makes sandwiches an obvious choice for the party. We made ham&cheese and peanut butter jelly finger sandwiches for ours but really you can do whatever flavors you want.
Frozen Snack Mix- Create your own snack mix and add in coordinating color m&ms, we used hot pink & turquoise- super easy & tasty!
1 Cup Pretzel Sticks or Rounds
1 Cup Corn Chex Cereal
1/2 Cup Swiss Cheese Cheez-Its
1/2 Cup Lightly Salted Peanuts
1/2 Cup M&Ms (we found ours at our local candy store, they had 10+ color options available)
Mix all together and enjoy!
Mini Candy Bar- Candy bar set-ups are all the rave right now but besides from being waaaay too much candy for toddlers, I also didn’t want to buy/make all those candies for a full table lol. I found this cute 3-piece Candy Jar Set & bought turquoise candy from a local candy store in town to match our theme colors.
Snowflake Popcorn Cups- The kids love these! I bought these white cups and hot glued paper snowflakes on them to add a little extra touch. I bought microwave popcorn & 10-15 minutes prior to the party starting filled them up. These cups would also be a cute idea to use for the drink/punch.
Snowball Punch- Super easy punch to make!
1 Gallon Blue Hawaiian Punch (chilled)
1 2 Liter of Sprite (chilled)
2 6oz Pineapple Juice (chilled)
6-8 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
Mix it all together, add the ice cream scoops on top, & you’re done!
Frozen Party Balloons- I would say this is what I spent the most money on for the party but I LOVE balloons and think they add the perfect touch for decorations. Instead of putting streamers up or hanging banners all over the walls, the balloons took care of bringing everything together. Also, this is a great idea for if you’re renting a space where they do not want you to be tapping/hanging items on their walls.
Chic Tablecloths- I rented tablecloths & seat covers from a local party store in my town. This was extra & totally not needed to have a cute party. I actually had already bought plastic tablecloths but last minute changed my mind. I will say it’s not as expensive as you may initially think so if you’re extra like me, maybe check it out 😎 It really does make the party look classy.
Mason Jar Centerpieces- Lace doilies add the perfect touch for a winter/frozen theme. I ordered glittery mason jars in our theme colors to add on the tables. This is totally something you could do on your own if you’re crafty. I am not lol! Then top it off with some fun confetti around the jars. I also used these jars as holders for the silverware, wands, and a few decor pieces throughout the party.
Frozen Wands- I used these beautiful wands as decorations for the cake table but also gave them out at the end as part of their party favor! I found them on Etsy but the shop has since closed- here’s an alternative option.
Snowflake Party Favors- I found these white treat boxes & broke out the hot glue again with the snowflakes. Cute, easy, & cheap! Plus, it helps pull everything together. I filled these treat boxes with extra candy I had bought for the candy mini-bar. So each child left with a small box of candy & a frozen wand. Normally I do the goody bags filled with like 5-6 little toys/treats but every time I do that I end up spending WAY too much and those little toys get destroyed or tossed in like 2 hours anyway. Birthday Girl Outfit- I found the CUTEST Frozen outfit on Etsy with matching Frozen Converse Sneakers too. I mean just BEYOND darling!! Plus, the reason I wanted something like this instead of a dress was because 2-year old kids love to run around & be silly! I wanted her to be comfortable so she could have fun but still be beyond adorable. It all worked out pretty perfect in my opinion.
Birthday Girl Chair- You know I actually had quite a bit of trouble figuring out what I was going to do for Cora’s Party Chair. You know what I mean by party chair- where she would open her presents, etc. A special seat just for her! I mean last year it was a high-chair but she’s a little too big for a highchair birthday seat for her 2nd party so I decided to dress up a regular chair for her and surrounded it with balloons/decor. It was special for her and I put it where everyone could see when she opened her gifts.
Birthday Crown- These are must-haves for parties in my opinion. Cora had one on her 1st Birthday and now again on her 2nd Birthday, and I even got myself a party hat from same store I wore (you can see in the photo above in the birthday chair photo). It’s definitely something I plan to do every-year for as long as she will let me. When she gets older, she’ll be able to look back at all her fun crowns from each of her birthday parties!
