Ho Ho Ho…Merry Christmas! Or well almost 😛 I can’t believe it’s that time of year again & boy it’s a busy time! I’d have to say it’s double busy for us too because Cora turns the BIG 2, two days after Christmas, omg what am I going to do lol! But I know picking out gifts for our kiddos can be hard so I wanted to do a gift guide this year on my top toddler girl gifts for this Christmas. Though it says it’s for girls, most of these items work for either and/or offer other color options. Also, all of these items we either already own so I know Cora loves them or I’ve done a little research & picked these for presents this year. So basically I’m saying Cora has or will have everything listed 😉 Spoil much haha!!
Alright let’s get started:
This was like my dream toy as a child. I always wanted a ride-on cycle or car but my mom never got me one 😥 . So this is a must have for my toddler- no second thought about it, she’s got it have it LOL! And after Christmas she will have 2. One for my parents (who watch her while I work) and one for our house. KidTrax makes the cutest styles with Minnie, Frozen, Nella, plus tons more for boys or girls.
This is an already own item that honestly when I picked out I was iffy about. I liked the fact it could help her learn colors that I knew we needed to work on but I was not so sure it would be a huge hit. Boy was I WRONG! She’s obsessed!! I swear to you, when we get home from picking her up from my parents house- she say’s “Eggs,Eggs,Eggs”. Literally she LOVES these Matching Eggs by KidzLane. I don’t know if its the matching or the taking them apart or whatever it is, but its a huge hit!!
I’ve ordered this item for Cora to be under the tree this year. I like that it has real suction & sound, and her little mini size! I’m honestly hoping the Dyson Toy Vacuum will give Cora something to “clean with” while I’m actually vacuuming. Because how it is right now is her trying to pull our actual vacuum out of my hand to do herself lol.
I had a small trampoline just like this when I was little that we actually just sold in a yard-sale 4 years ago..bummer right! But I saw this when doing some toy research and knew how much I loved it as a kid, so I wanted to get one for Cora. This is another item under the tree this year, and I’m pretty excited to see her jump on her Little Tikes Trampoline just like mama did!
When I saw this toy, I thought “oh, so perfect!”. Eric works as a laborer so I thought this was the perfect toy for them to play with together. When Daddy has his tools, Cora can have hers too! Plus wooden toys are just the cutest & this HABA Tool Box in rainbowish colors, totally our vibe!
OMG this is an amazing toy, I would have loved this as a toddler! And Cora does LOVE it! We already own this one. It’s actually at her grandparents house because they have a much larger home than we do so it has room there. I will say that’s the only downfall of this toy but also the reason it’s so great, it’s BIG! It takes up a lot of room but if you have a playroom or even a large outdoor deck, something like that- it would be perfect! Cora’s Step2 Roller Coaster is set up in her playroom area at her grandparents and she thinks it’s the coolest thing! Oh and besides from her loving to go on it, she loves putting her baby dolls on it and pushing them then putting it back on the track & repeating.
I knew I couldn’t go wrong with a plush unicorn. Not much more to say about that- it’s just plain cute!
This is another one of those pretend play items I wanted to have for Cora this year. She actually already owns another KidzLane kit like this but it’s a tool kit and shes really liked it! The reason I like both of these kits so much is the box it all comes in. It’s easy to keep it all together and she can carry it around easily with the handle. This Doctor Kit will be under the tree this year too.
Cora already owns this & I recently did a Instagram post all about it. It’s the perfect bike for kids 1.5-3.5 because it’s low to the ground so they can balance and ride. No need for training wheels! Cora really likes this Woom Bike and I’m always for a toy that gets us outside!
Majority of all the bath toys we have are from when Cora was first getting out of the newborn stage and able to sit up/play in the tub. As we all know, bath toys can get nasty after awhile and we’re overdue to replace most of Cora’s. These Bright Basics Bath Blocks definitely look like something Cora will have fun playing with in the bath and I’ll be able to throw away some I need to.
I’ve been wanting to get this for Cora for months now since I saw a fellow influencer friend talk about it for her toddler but I kept pushing myself to wait since the holidays were so close. So this will be under the tree this year & I think it will be a great learning toy that Cora and I can do together. Brains & Beauty 😉
This is a 1/2 gift because about 3months ago I got this and gave Cora the Nursery set out of it but saved the Vanity set for Christmas. She has been really enjoying the Nursery Care set so I think it’s a beyond a doubt she will love the other too. Especially since it’s her own little spot to put her “makeup” on just like mama!
This is another nostalgic toy for me that I had as a child so a no brainer when I saw this on Amazon. It’s actually party of their Hot Toy List for 2018 too!
We’ve had these for Cora for a few months now and another great toy item she loves. These are actually a toy I put in my diaper bag when we go out to eat or something. Of course, not all of them- but since they are magnetic and easily stay together in my bag, I put about 6-10 in there for her. She can play with them on the restaurant table when we’re out & it helps keep her happy.
I would say this is a must-have for a cooking family. If there is a parent that loves to cook or even doesn’t love it but is cooking a lot then this would be helpful for you. I don’t do a lot of cooking but the few times a year I do, HAHA jk. But seriously, when I do, it’s hard because Cora wants to be involved or wants me to hold her the entire time and that’s not easy! This allows the kids to stand up safely on a stool so they are right there with you.
Cora has a KidKraft Kitchen that was probably one of our best purchases of 2018. The only reason I didn’t include it in here is because they make tons of different kitchens and I’m sure they are all great. My parents have a different brand, Step2 I believe, for her at their house so really any kids kitchen would work. Or even if you don’t have a kitchen, these KidKraft Kitchen Accessories are perfect pretend plays for the kids. Cora has really started doing the whole “pretend play” with her kitchen so I knew I definitely wanted to get her these. I think there is 3 or 4 different sets from KidKraft (picture above is all) and I ordered them all for under the tree this year.
This is another already own item…I know you’re probably thinking does this kid need anymore toys really? 😯 But this has been a big hit for Cora & Eric to do together. He straps her in the Push Buggy and takes her around the neighborhood while they spend their special daddy/daughter time. The steering wheel moves so Cora gets to feel like she’s driving and the hood even opens up with a little compartment there. I think this would be great (besides from the fact it doesn’t have storage room for bags) for a zoo day or something like that.
I knew I wanted to grab Cora some bath crayons and when I saw this bundle on Amazon, I thought it was the perfect option. Both regular crayons & bath crayons that were both easy to hold/handle for small toddler hands.
That’s it for my toddler gift guide this year…least as of now ha! 😉
I had so much fun putting this together and I truly hope it helps all of you with your decisions!
